12-month contract
Location: Seattle, WA -fully remote
Travel: 1-2 times per year may be required to travel outside of the state to attend special meetings with the team. (expenses are covered for this, with normal charges
Expenses: Cell, internet and mileage to the field and back home.
Top Skills: Please focus on candidates with Wireless Project Management experience. Must work well in desktop systems like Excel, Smartsheet, Project Management Platforms. Specific experience with Seattle ROW (SDOT,SCL or Seattle City Inspector contacts) is a plus. Strong problem solving skills, looking for a go-getter that takes initiate to push projects along. Estimating experience is also needed for this role.
Description:
Responsible for pricing wireless contracts, working with cross-functional teams to collect financial data.
Essential Job Functions
• Understand prevailing rates for all construction work and ensure is estimating the correct budget for wireless contracts.
• Responsible to problem solve issues that may occur during project execution and make sure those costs are accounted for in the 1.0 process.
• Ensure accurate and complete files are maintained for projects and contracts.
• Ensure that all jobs and contracts are maintained in a project tracking system with complete accuracy.
Education/Certifications
• High School degree
• A valid driver’s license required
Experience/Minimum Requirements
• Minimum 3-5 years of telecommunications/wireless construction experience
• Knowledge of Outside Plant Construction techniques (aerial & underground) for SCS.
• Working knowledge of NESC, NEC and OSHA standards.
Other Skills/Abilities
• Knowledge of budget development and execution
• Ability to direct and diagnose work flow problems, critical paths and institute remedies
• Customer service orientation with a strong problem solving approach - strong interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills - MS office and project management software knowledge
