What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Installation Crew Member position at Witte Lawn Maintenance Inc?
Witte Lawn Maintenance is a 3rd Generation lawn and landscape management business established in 1957. As a leader in the West Michigan Green Industry we are looking to add dedicated members to our team. Landscape Installation Crew Members play a key role in building high-quality outdoor spaces. To join our team, you must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, be able to acquire a chauffers’ permit and pass a MDOT medical exam in order to operate our trucks and equipment. Having a CDL license is a plus.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Planting trees, shrubs, and perennials
- Spreading bark mulch
- Grading and seeding new lawns, turf installation, or laying sod
- Installing brick and concrete paver patios, retaining walls, and other landscape construction
- Underground irrigation installations
- Equipment operation
Applicants must:
- Have a driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Be able to obtain a chauffeur’s permit
- Be able to lift and move 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Enjoy being oudoors in all types of weather
Pay starts at $19 per hour and goes up based on experience
