Job Description:
Security Clearance:
- CSOSA Background Check Required; may require DCSA Background Investigation for assignments exceeding 180 days
Education/ Certification Mandatory:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
Work Experience Mandatory:
- Experience performing receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative support duties in a professional office environment.
- Demonstrated ability to greet and assist visitors, answer and route calls, record and transmit messages, schedule appointments, maintain visitor logs, and issue visitor passes.
- Experience using multi-line telephone systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general office equipment operation.
Work Experience Nice To Have:
- Prior experience supporting Federal Government offices, secure facilities, or professional services environments. Experience handling confidential or sensitive information, visitor access procedures, and administrative coordination activities.
- Familiarity with office security procedures, badge issuance processes, records management, and customer service support in government environments.
References/Certificates/Diplomas Required:
- Resume, professional references, copies of diplomas/certifications if applicable, proof of work authorization, and required CSOSA security/background documentation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and determine the purpose of visits while directing visitors to appropriate personnel or offices.
- Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls using multi-line phone systems.
- Record, transmit, and relay messages accurately and professionally.
- Provide information and assistance to callers, visitors, and staff regarding office procedures and locations.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and visitor access arrangements.
- Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges or passes in accordance with agency security procedures.
- Perform routine clerical and administrative support duties including filing, data entry, copying, scanning, and mail distribution.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite applications to prepare documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and customer service standards while supporting CSOSA office operations.
- Support additional administrative and office management activities as assigned.
