Job Description
Withum's Forensic and Valuation Services practice pride themselves in understanding their clients’ business strategy and needs; assisting companies in meeting business requirements related to valuation, risk management, economic analysis, compensation analysis and model validation. Withum professionals help clients make forward-thinking decisions about strategy, operations and compliance and create long-lasting value. We are currently seeking a Healthcare Valuation Principal to join Withum’s Forensic and Valuation Services Group.
The Healthcare Valuation Principal can be based out of our Lincolnshire, IL office.
The principal will work on a variety of assignments, including taking substantial responsibility of overseeing and performing valuation and compensation valuation opinions related to a wide variety of healthcare entities including; single and multi-specialty physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers, hospital/hospital departments, physical therapy centers, home healthcare companies, and other healthcare entities.

How You’ll Spend Your Time
- Overseeing and performing valuation, consulting and advisory services relating to healthcare entities
- Overseeing and performing the analysis of compensation arrangements for healthcare entities to include; clinical service, coverage arrangements, physician executive services, etc.
- Overseeing and performing purchase price allocations for financial and tax reporting purposes
- Overseeing and performing the analysis of physician compensation arrangements, lease arrangements, etc. in order to be Stark and Anti-Kickback compliant
- Taking an active role in business development, client management, and project management
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, accounting, or similar quantitative discipline
- 10 years of performing valuation related services
- In-depth understanding of valuation methods such as discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transactions, etc.
- Must hold valuation related certification including ASA, CVA, ABV, CEIV, or CFA. MBA and/ or JD will also be considered in lieu of these certifications
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Capital IQ and MGMA and AMGA databases preferred
- Capacity to work independently on projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills

Salary : $150,000 - $275,000
