We are seeking an experienced Planner II to join our Design Planning practice area, focusing on Community Planning projects including comprehensive land use plans, parks and recreation system plans, development ordinances, etc. This position provides a chance to apply your knowledge, expand your abilities, and contribute to work that supports communities.

Requirements
In this role you will need…
- Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning, City Planning, or equivalent and 1 year of experience in a planning-related job; or
- Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, City Planning, or equivalent and 2 years of experience in a planning-related job; or
- 5 years of experience in a planning-related job with at least 2 of those doing professional planning work.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- A keen eye for design and aesthetics
- Working independently and learning problem solving skills
- Experience with design and planning software necessary to the development of planning documents
