Are you a hands-on, reliable problem-solver who enjoys keeping buildings running smoothly? The Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Associate to join our Facilities team.
In this full-time, year-round role, you’ll help ensure our oceanfront property remains safe, functional, and welcoming for guests and staff. From routine maintenance to unexpected repairs, you’ll play a key part in delivering an excellent guest experience by keeping our facilities in top condition. Under the guidance of our Facilities Director, you’ll work across multiple buildings and systems, supporting the daily operational needs of the hotel.

Position Details:
Schedule: Full-time, year-round
Hours: Varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Location: Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience benefits

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs across hotel buildings, guest rooms, and event spaces
- Assist with general carpentry, painting, basic plumbing, and minor electrical tasks
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
- Conduct regular property inspections and report any safety or repair concerns
- Support seasonal tasks such as pool maintenance, snow removal, and landscaping assistance
- Work collaboratively with the Facilities team to keep equipment and systems functioning efficiently
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a clean and organized manner
- Complete assigned work orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Follow all safety protocols and uphold company standards
Requirements:
- Previous maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, standing, and working in various environments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and reliable work ethic
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
