Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized Account Manager/Project Manager to oversee our day-to-day financial operations and assist in coordinating construction projects. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing multiple hats and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Accounts Management
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks or similar software
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Prepare basic financial reports for review
- Ensure compliance with tax filings and general financial best practices
Project Management Support
- Track project budgets and expenses
- Assist in scheduling subcontractors and materials
- Coordinate with clients and suppliers
- Monitor project timelines and flag delays or cost overruns
- Maintain organized digital and physical project files
Administrative Duties
- Manage and organize contracts, change orders, and permits
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and team members professionally
- Provide general office and operational support as needed
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) is a plus
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and working independently
- Familiarity with construction project workflows is a plus
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Buildertrend, Procore, or similar)
- Understanding of job costing and construction billing practices
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Finance, or related fields
