Witco is seeking an Employment Specialist to join our Community Employment Team. The Specialist will work closely with Idaho Division of Vocational Rehabilitation providing job development and employment support services to people with disabilities.
SUMMARY:
The Employment Specialist plans and delivers outcome-based career assessment, job development, and employment placement services for adults with disabilities. Employment Specialists manage a comprehensive set of employment services and ensure consistent, high-quality services in accordance with company values and regulatory, licensing, and accreditation entities. Employment Specialists establish and nurture strong relationships with referral sources and community employers to assist persons served in obtaining and maintaining employment

REQUIREMENTS:
- High School or Equivalent (Post Secondary Education Preferred)
- Familiarity with the local Treasure Valley job market.
- Ability to comprehend complex federal, state, and local regulations.
- Ability to lead, guide, and inspire others effectively
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong Working proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet navigation
SUPERIOR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of employment experience and training.
- 1-2 years' work experience in disability services, or employment services, or social services.
- 1-2 years of personnel management, or supervisory experience
- Experience working with state and government agencies
- Previous program or case management experience
- Experience in assessment and program plan development
- Experience with budget/expense processes
