Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS system, ensuring timely and precise entry
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently while maintaining accuracy in transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with food handling standards
- Assist with food presentation, serving dishes promptly and professionally during busy hours or special events
- Collaborate with all staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and uphold high-quality service standards
- Use upselling techniques to maximize sales
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems preferred for efficient order processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining quality service
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety
- Experience with banquet service or catering environments is a plus for special event support
- Familiarity with brewing processes or restaurant experience enhances your ability to serve a variety of beverages confidently
