Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently to maintain cleanliness throughout the shift
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients under supervision
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by bussing tables and clearing plates as needed
- Maintain a sanitized work area by regularly cleaning counters, sinks, and storage areas in accordance with health regulations
- Follow proper food handling procedures and safety protocols at all times to ensure compliance with health standards
- Support general kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and equipment sanitation
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with basic food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and adherence to sanitation standards
