The Client is seeking a Sr. Technical Project Manager to lead operations, maintenance, and enhancements for an enterprise Offender Management System within the IT department.
Full Description
The Sr. Technical Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the current and upgraded Offender Management System, including updates, testing, change management, release cycles, and daily support. The role requires collaboration with technical teams, architects, and leadership, and involves on-site work within a correctional facility (limited telework permitted based on project needs).
Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of experience in IT or technical project environments.
- 6 years managing contract operations involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.
- 6 years managing teams of contract support personnel across multiple locations.
- 6 years maintaining and managing senior-level client interfaces.
- 6 years meeting with customer and contractor personnel to develop and review task plans, schedules, and deliverables.
- 6 years ensuring project and program conformance with schedules, cost constraints, and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated experience working with multiple levels of highly technical internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience facilitating Agile practices in hybrid or multi-team environments.
- Experience in progressive consulting leadership roles delivering full-lifecycle services in enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to manage, coordinate, and prioritize tasks across the full project lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Power BI, or equivalent (dashboards, reporting, issue tracking).
- Successful implementation of at least one complex project within the last five years.
- Participation and significant contribution to at least two additional project implementations within the past six years.
Highly Desired
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
- CSM (Certified Scrum Master) Certification.
Pay: $47.16 - $60.80 per hour
