Role: Big Data Developer
Title: AVP/VP
Location: Boston/ Burlington (Day 1 Onsite/Hybrid) – Fulltime
Mode of Work: 3 days/week onsite required
Required Experience: 7 years
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data architectures. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in data processing, ETL development, and big data technologies to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Build and optimize data architectures and data models.
- Work with large datasets to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance.
- Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, and streaming platforms.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to support data-driven solutions.
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Develop and maintain data warehouse and data lake solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Python, SQL, or Scala.
- Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline development.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar big data frameworks.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query, etc.).
- Experience with Kafka or other streaming technologies.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and database design.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
