Design/Build/Maintain company looking for an experienced foreman. Join our team of experienced horticulturalists in building and caring for beautiful gardens in the northwest Philadelphia area and surrounding suburbs. Mason and Landscape Foreman job duties include, but not limited to:
Lead a team of 1-3 persons. Build and repair dry laid walkways, and patios in flagstone and brick. Build and repair dry laid walls in shist and fieldstone. Build ponds and waterfalls. Carpentry and landscape lighting experience a major plus.
Manage the execution of maintenance and installation projects. Read and interpret landscape planting plans. Care for plants and gardens by watering, fertilizing, pruning, weeding, cultivating, and removing dead or damaged plant material. Handle, transport and install nursery stock. Operate various tools and equipment. The following skills also a major plus: Bonuses for quality work and continuing education opportunities. Job Requirements:
Positive attitude, passion for plants, and a strong work ethic. High school diploma, GED or equivalent and Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation.
Extensive knowledge of plants and proper tree/shrub planting practices and minimum of 3 yrs. landscaping experience or Horticulture degree. Strong time management skills, professional appearance, and effective communication skills. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and lift 50 pounds repeatedly through an entire work shift. Ability to work outside in various conditions including heat, humidity, rain, snow and cold. Ability to work 8-10 hours a day, Monday through Friday.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
