A growing consumer products company in Monmouth County is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with strong inventory accounting experience and a background in manufacturing. This is a FULLY ONSITE ROLE. Only local candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and reconcile inventory accounts (inventory experience required)
.• Perform Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
.• Complete bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash activity
.• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
.• Support month‑end close, including accruals and closing entries
.• Assist with light financial statement preparation and reporting
.• Use QuickBooks for daily accounting tasks and reporting
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting (required).
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadline
