ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS TELECOMMUNICATIONS JOB?
This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, with occasional after-hours work and on-call rotation. Some travel may be required.
As our Maintenance Tower Tech Tier 2, you'll meticulously prepare installation equipment and materials to ensure optimal functionality for our high-tech operations. You will ascend towers up to 1000 ft, executing precise installations and routine maintenance of wireless internet equipment and camera systems. Your responsibilities will include mounting critical internet components, accurately relaying data cables, and installing essential battery backups and grounding systems. As needed, you will conduct on-site analyses to identify potential new tower site locations, as well as necessary repairs and upgrades. You'll also serve as a lead on job sites, ensuring work is delegated and completed both safely and accurately. With unwavering attention to detail and adherence to stringent safety protocols, you'll ensure that you and your team uphold the highest standards in connectivity and infrastructure integrity.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrate Skills with Fiber Splicers, OTDRs, and other fiber troubleshooting tools
- Valid driver's license and the ability to be added to the company's auto insurance policy
- 1 years of demonstrated experience as tower tech tier 1
- Ability to climb towers up to 1000 ft. and lift 25 lbs.
- Completion of all tower tech tier 1 duties
- Complete the required tower training within 90 days of hire
- Obtain and maintain the provided training certifications per industry standards
