The Role We are seeking a highly organized and authoritative Creative Project Manager (CPM) to serve as the operational engine of our Los Angeles Creative Center. You will be the single, vital bridge between our China-based Strategy/Account teams and our US-based execution specialists.
Unlike a traditional client-facing role, this position is purely focused on creative operations, resource allocation, and quality assurance. You will translate high-level campaign strategies into local execution standards, assign tasks to a diverse team of full-time employees and contractors, and serve as the ultimate "gatekeeper" for creative quality before final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Cross-Border Hub & Gatekeeper: Act as the sole point of contact for the Shanghai Strategy (DTC) and Account (AM) teams. Review incoming campaign briefs/decks to ensure they meet strict intake standards. Exercise the authority to push back on unclear or incomplete briefs before execution begins.
- Resource & Timeline Management: Translate approved strategies into actionable project timelines. Intelligently allocate tasks across our 5 execution pillars (Content, Video, Graphics, Social Media, and Paid Ads), utilizing both in-house staff and our network of external contractors.
- Execution Leadership: Lead internal kick-off meetings to ensure all creatives and contractors clearly understand project deadlines, visual standards, and deliverables. Track daily progress and resolve any operational bottlenecks.
- Quality Assurance (QA): Serve as the final line of defense for creative quality. Conduct rigorous internal reviews of all assets (videos, graphics, ad copy) to ensure they meet Wishare’s standards and client specifications before routing them back to the global team.
- Process Optimization: Continuously enforce and refine internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to minimize friction and maximize cross-regional efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in creative project management, creative operations, or as a creative producer within an agency or media group environment.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (Mandarin is essential for daily seamless communication with our Shanghai headquarters).
- Creative Pipeline Knowledge: Solid understanding of the production workflows for video editing, graphic design, social media management, and digital ad buying.
- Resource Management: Proven experience managing a hybrid workforce, including coordinating and QAing deliverables from freelance contractors.
- Tools: Proficiency in modern project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Monday.com, Trello) and a strong systems-oriented mindset.
