Webmaster

Circle City Broadcasting in Indianapolis is seeking a skilled Webmaster to oversee the technical performance, maintenance and daily operation of our digital platforms. This role is critical to maintaining site performance, ensuring strong search visibility, and supporting ongoing digital innovation. The ideal candidate is both technically strong and analytically minded — comfortable working in code, optimizing for SEO and monitoring site health daily. This role also assists the CCB Sales team by building, developing and managing client websites.

Responsibilities

·        Maintain and improve website functionality, performance, and reliability

·        Serve as team lead with third party development team, executing front-end and back-end updates

·        Lead on-page and technical SEO improvements to drive organic traffic

·        Conduct site audits, keyword analysis and SERP performance monitoring

·        Collaborate with editorial teams to ensure SEO best practices are applied to content

·        Build and maintain Looker Studio dashboards for internal reporting

·        Utilize programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python or related

·        Manage DNS, hosting environments, SSL certificates and domain configurations

·        Configure and analyze GA4 data to identify trends and opportunities

·        Build, update, and maintain web pages, layouts, and prototypes for all CCB digital properties

·        Create, develop and maintain client facing websites

·        Manage Formstack accounts and form setups

·        Research and implement new technologies, plugins and AI tools

·        Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

·        3 years of experience as a Webmaster, Web Administrator or Web Developer

·        Experience with WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL and Formstack

·        Experience with GA4, Looker Studio, Google Search Console, SEO optimizations and performance monitoring via New Relic or similar

·        Ability to create mockups and layouts using tools such as Figma or Adobe creative suite

·        Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication skills

·        Relevant certifications (Web Development, SEO, Google Analytics) are preferred
