Warehouse/Delivery Driver Associate ? Franklin,Ohio

We are looking for a proven contributor to join our branch operations as a Warehouse/ Delivery Driver Associate. The ideal candidate is an energetic team player whose primary role will be picking and pacing of product and can transition to the role of delivery driver should it be needed. As a backup driver, you will be required to deliver products to customers, being the face of Wiseway Supply; responsible for providing excellent customer service by providing the right material, quantity, and promptly. Knowledge of residential, construction, and commercial plumbing products is a plus.

Hours: Available to work between the hours of 7:00 ? 5:00 pm / Monday - Friday

Essential Functions:

Warehouse Associate:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required (on-the-job training will be provided)
• Experience with order picking, packing, shipping, or inventory control is a plus
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld scanners is beneficial

• Ensure order picking accuracy measures 100% by double-checking all orders.
• Notify the order creator of any inventory or delivery delays or problems.
• Make sure will-calls are staged within one hour.
• Ensure all products are stocked in designated locations
• Monitor receiving to ensure incoming merchandise is received according to company procedure and stocked in assigned location.
• Forklift certification or experience (on-the-job certification will be provided)
• Perform all assigned duties safely and efficiently adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Delivery Driver:

• Valid driver?s license with a clean driving record
• 1?2 years of experience in delivery driving, courier services, or a related field preferred
• Familiarity with GPS devices, mobile apps, and route navigation
• Experience driving vans, box trucks, or similar vehicles may be required depending on delivery type
• Drivers are required to load the assigned truck for delivery, drive to customer location, unload truck and deliver products; the average weight of products being between 50-100 lbs.
• Recording information on delivery manifest

• Daily cleaning of assigned truck
• Customer service experience is a plus
• Representing our company in a professional demeanor

Perform other duties as required or requested by management.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Work in a warehouse setting; some outdoor exposure during the workday; temperature is not controlled
• Required to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 70 pounds
• Must be able to push/pull pallet jack or cart weighing up to 350 lbs.
• Able to perform repetitive motions of bending, squatting, stooping, and standing; including the motion of placing and removing the product from shelves, stabilizing on the mode of delivery, or carrying by hand.
• Ability to perform light driving/delivery duties via company truck; perform repeated motions of bending, squatting, stooping, and standing; including motion of getting in and out of the truck from the driver seat, removing the product from the truck, stabilizing on the mode of delivery via two-wheel dolly or carrying by hand.
• NO CDL requirement - this position requires a DOT medical card. The DOT physical is paid for by the employer and part of the applicant?s job assessment to perform the required duties.
