We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our dynamic warehouse team. Duties
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using warehouse management systems and RF scanners
- Accurately document all inbound deliveries through data entry into inventory management software and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRPs
- Load and unload trucks safely using equipment like pallet jacks, reach trucks, or forklifts while adhering to safety protocols
- Stock shelves, organize inventory, and prepare items for order picking and packing processes
- Collaborate with the shipping department to prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling in compliance with trade and international trade regulations
- Maintain accurate records of all receiving activities, update inventory counts, and perform regular cycle counts
- Assist with general warehouse duties including order fulfillment, stock replenishment, and supporting logistics operations
Skills
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP platforms such as AS400 or MRP systems
- Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and international trade regulations
- Experience operating warehouse equipment including reach trucks, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and forklift trucks (certification preferred)
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping
- Basic math skills for measuring quantities, calculating weights, and verifying shipments
- Customer service orientation to support internal teams and external carriers effectively
- Familiarity with warehouse operations including stocking procedures, order fulfillment processes, and trade compliance standards
