Full-Time Infant Nanny Needed in Nellysford, VA

Wise Steps Consulting is helping a Nelson County family find a warm, dependable, and experienced nanny for an in-home position caring for their infant. This role starts as soon as possible.

The Position

• In-home nanny care in Nellysford
• Care for one infant
• 32 to 36 hours per week, Monday through Thursday (9am - 5pm)
• Friday hours may be available and are open for discussion
• Start date: as soon as possible

About the Family
This family is looking for a nurturing, engaging, and communicative caregiver who is excited to support their baby's growth and development in a loving home. They value a nanny who builds a real bond with their child and keeps parents informed throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate infant care
• Follow the baby's routines, including feeding, naps, diapering, and play
• Create opportunities for development through floor time, reading, music, and outdoor time
• Keep the baby's spaces clean, safe, and organized
• Follow the family's preferences around routines, feeding, and sleep
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents about routines, milestones, and daily updates

Qualifications

• Prior experience caring for infants, with references
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to complete a background check and driving record review
• Dependable, flexible, and comfortable working independently
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
