Job Summary:

The Tool & Die Maker is responsible for modifying, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining stamping dies to meet engineering specifications and production requirements. This position will identify and correct surface and dimensional issues in sheet metal panels.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot stamping die and sheet metal forming issues.
• Perform die repairs, modifications, assembly, and disassembly.
• Complete welding, grinding, polishing, spotting, and die fitting.
• Set dies and make necessary press and dimensional adjustments.
• Communicate progress and issues with engineering and die tryout teams.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of Tool & Die experience.
• Strong knowledge of stamping dies and die construction.
• Experience troubleshooting dimensional and surface issues.
• Skilled in welding, grinding, spotting, polishing, and die repair.
• Ability to read engineering changes and work independently.
