Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Food Prep Associate to assist with daily kitchen and food service operations. This position is responsible for preparing food, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and supporting the cafeteria team in providing meals to students and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare fruits, vegetables, sandwiches, salads, and other food items according to instructions.
• Assist with meal preparation and portioning.
• Follow recipes, food preparation procedures, and sanitation guidelines.
• Keep food preparation areas, counters, utensils, and equipment clean and organized.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
• Properly store food and supplies.
• Monitor food quantities and notify the kitchen team when additional supplies are needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous food preparation, kitchen, cafeteria, or restaurant experience preferred.
• Must be dependable and have good attendance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must comply with all school and food-service safety requirements.
• Ability to perform additional kitchen duties as assigned.
• Must pass required background screening and drug screening.
