Role Summary
The Area Sales Manager is a goal-oriented, highly motivated person with strong B2B sales ability and experience in the staffing industry. The ideal candidate demonstrates an out of the box mentality and brings a desire to hunt to the Wise Staffing Group team! This role is responsible and held accountable for consistently increasing revenue across multiple markets through the generation of new business. This is accomplished by prospecting and closing new opportunities as well as leveraging existing relationships.
Responsibilities
- Leads each branch in designated territory through the coaching and development of both sales and operations teams.
- Sets a strong example of consistently meeting goals and expectations for reporting team.
- Creates a growth strategy focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Actively communicates territory performance to leadership on a regular basis.
- Develops strategic improvement plans to meet long and short-term goals.
- Promotes Wise Staffing Group’s services while predicting client objectives.
- Prepares sales contracts, ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines. Negotiates with clients to meet mutually beneficial agreements.
- Keeps records of sales, revenue, invoices, and other relevant information for each branch within assigned territory. Accurately calculates branch growth and estimates upcoming territory performance.
- Provides trustworthy feedback and after-sales support to clients. Begins, develops, and maintains strong, long-lasting relationships with new customers with nurturing existing clientele.
- Meets or exceeds personal sales quotas while holding the territory team accountable for performance goals. Actively evaluates team performance and proactively addresses issues with plans for improvement. Ensures each branch reaches growth targets as projected.
