Hiring: ServiceNow Sr Developer | Detroit, MI | Hybrid
We're looking for an experienced ServiceNow Sr Developer with strong expertise in ServiceNow development, ITSM, CMDB, Flow Designer, integrations, and platform customization to join a high-performing ServiceNow Demand Management team.
Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid – 2 to 3 Days Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Implementation Partner: Infosys
End Client: To be disclosed
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
• Configure and develop solutions within the ServiceNow platform, including forms, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and Flow Designer
• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow modules, custom applications, and integrations with third-party systems
• Participate in solution design reviews, testing, documentation, deployment, and release activities
• Develop scalable and maintainable ServiceNow solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
• Support platform upgrades, instance maintenance, and quality assurance initiatives
• Facilitate workshops, solution demonstrations, and user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and enhanced user experiences across ServiceNow modules
• Contribute to platform governance, roadmap planning, and ServiceNow best practices
• Act as a liaison between business users, technical teams, and platform governance groups
Mandatory Skills:
• Hands-on ServiceNow development experience
• Strong experience with ITSM and CMDB modules
• Expertise in ServiceNow configuration, customization, and administration
• Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Workflows
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow data models and platform architecture
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting APIs
• Experience creating technical documentation, solution designs, and test scripts
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
What We’re Looking For:
A highly skilled ServiceNow Sr Developer who can bridge business requirements and technical solutions while delivering scalable ServiceNow implementations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on development experience, deep knowledge of ITSM and CMDB, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to drive platform enhancements and automation initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
• Additional certifications such as CIS-ITSM, CIS-HRSD, CIS-CSM, or App Engine Developer
• Experience with REST and SOAP integrations
• Familiarity with CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and platform governance
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
