Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate the cloud infrastructure and automation that powers our engineering organization. The role is
responsible for managing containerized workloads, cloud environments, networking, and CI/CD automation to ensure our platforms are reliable, scalable, and secure. The ideal candidate
combines strong infrastructure engineering skills with an automation-first mindset and a passion for enabling development teams to ship confidently.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure
- Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure across one or more providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Optimize cloud resource utilization, cost, and performance across environments.
Kubernetes & Containers
- Deploy, manage, and scale workloads on Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, or self-managed).
- Build and maintain Helm charts, manifests, and container images following best practices.
- Manage cluster health, autoscaling, upgrades, and workload reliability.
Networking
- Knowledge of network topologies, including VPCs, subnets, load balancers, DNS, and ingress/egress controls.
- Configure and troubleshoot connectivity, firewalls, service meshes, and TLS/certificate management.
- Diagnose network performance and latency issues across distributed systems.
Automation & Development (Python)
- Develop automation scripts, tooling, and internal services primarily in Python.
- Build and maintain operational tooling for provisioning, monitoring, and self-service workflows.
- Integrate systems via APIs and eliminate manual, repetitive operational tasks.
DevOps & CI/CD
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Argo CD).
- Implement GitOps practices, automated testing, and safe deployment strategies.
- Establish observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Champion reliability, security, and DevOps culture across engineering teams.
