This is a full-time on-site role located in Chicago, IL for an Assistant Teacher/Floater. The Assistant Teacher/Floater will support lead teachers in implementing lesson plans, assist in the classroom, and help maintain a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities include working directly with children in small group and individual settings, encouraging the development of social, academic, and motor skills. Additional duties may involve classroom setup, supervising activities, and assisting with daily care routines.
- Experience in Assistant Teaching and working with children in an educational or daycare setting
- Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff
- Knowledge of early childhood Education principles, with an understanding of age-appropriate learning strategies
- Basic Mathematics skills to support children's learning and development
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for fostering a positive learning environment
- Relevant certifications in early childhood education or a related field are a plus
