REQUIREMENTS: 1.) Possess current license to practice nursing in the State of Texas 2.) Must be certified in BLS, ALS 3.) Signed 12-week seasonal PRN RN Agreement
Must have current licensure/certifications upon hire. New Hires will have 60 days to acquire the required certifications (BLS and/or any other life support certifications required for the job).
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate nursing care and patient/family education for Newborn, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients as assigned, through the use of the nursing process; maintains positive working relationships with staff and other departments to provide optimal quality outcomes within the framework of professional nursing practice. These responsibilities are met according to hospital policy, hospital mission statement and the philosophy of the Department of Nursing.

Fosters positive working relationships across departments and campuses to represent Wise Health System as a unified supportive system & Wise Health System’s mission, vision, and values. REPORTS TO: Reports to the Director of Nursing Services operationally; To the Chief Nursing Officer administratively.
RECOMMENDED: 1.) Experience in cardiac rhythm recognition 2.) Specialty certifications (CCRN, TNCC, etc.)
OSHA TASK CATEGORY ONE: There is an inherent potential for mucous membrane or skin contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues, or a potential for spills splashes during the performance of the job. Universal precautions must be observed, and protective devices worn by the employee when performing those tasks likely to cause exposure.
