Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Hardware Test Engineer to test and validate electronic hardware prototypes for automotive applications. The role involves performing laboratory testing, electrical measurements, hardware debugging, and verification of protection features in components such as PMICs, smart fuses, load switches, sensors, microcontrollers, and memory devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hardware testing and electrical measurements using oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and electronic loads.
- Validate OCP, OVP, UVP, current limiting, short-circuit protection, and thermal performance.
- Analyze hardware faults, power sequencing, timing behavior, and load profiles.
- Use Lauterbach tools for hardware flashing and debugging.
- Support Automotive Ethernet testing using Vector or Intrepid tools.
- Document test results, troubleshoot failures, and support hardware validation activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in hardware design and testing.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory testing, electrical measurements, and hardware troubleshooting.
Preferred Skills: Lauterbach debugging tools, Automotive Ethernet, and Vector or Intrepid testing tools.
