Job Summary
We are looking for a strong Software Engineer with hands-on C 17 experience to join a team working on complex, production-grade software systems. The ideal candidate has experience designing, developing, debugging, and owning non-trivial software components used in real-world production environments.
This role focuses on software engineering fundamentals, system design, coding, debugging, and problem-solving. Automotive, autonomous vehicle, robotics, or embedded experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop reliable, scalable, and maintainable software using modern C / C 17.
- Own and contribute to production software components from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in system design discussions involving APIs, services, state management, communication, reliability, and failure handling.
- Diagnose complex production issues using logs, diagnostics, and system behavior.
- Analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Develop clean, readable, testable, and maintainable code.
- Consider edge cases, failure scenarios, performance, and scalability during implementation.
- Collaborate with engineers to evaluate technical trade-offs and evolve system designs.
- Clearly communicate technical decisions, assumptions, and problem-solving approaches.
Required Qualifications
- Strong professional experience developing C applications, with hands-on C 17 proficiency.
- Experience building and supporting production-grade software systems.
- Strong understanding of software design and engineering principles.
- Experience with debugging complex software issues and performing root-cause analysis.
