What We Need

As a Licensed Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our doctors & team, maintaining efficient clinical operations, and helping create an exceptional patient experience. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, thrives in a fast-paced team environment, and is committed to delivering outstanding patient care.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and ensure that the operatories for surgeries, consultations, and other appointments are set up prior to patient arrivals.
• Assist the doctor during oral surgery procedures.
• Provide exceptional patient care before, during, and after treatment.
• Conduct patient follow-up communications and support.
• Foster a warm, welcoming environment for our patients and uphold our commitment to excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable regulations and standards.
• Maintain proper sterilization protocols and ensure a continuous flow of sterile instruments throughout the day.
• Work efficiently and timely in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Assist with maintaining an organized and clean clinical workspace.
• Lift and move equipment and supplies as needed (up to 50 lbs.).

What You'll Need

• Dental Assistant license (required).
• CPR/BLS certification (required).
• Sedation permit/license (preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with patients, team members, and healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency with practice management software and electronic health record systems.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and healthcare compliance standards.
• Strong computer proficiency and efficency, Microsoft Workspace and Google Workspace.
• Fast and accurate typing skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Confidence, a positive attitude, and willingness to take initiative is important!
• Must be a team-player with a strong work ethic.
• Eagerness to learn and keep up with new protocols, technologies, and standards.

Schedule Expectations

Applicants must be comfortable with:

• Arriving by 6:50 AM
• Working past 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday, as needed.
• Working until 3:30/4:00 PM on Fridays.
