What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asphalt Foreman position at Wise AE Holdings, Inc?
An Asphalt Foreman will directly supervise and coordinate daily activities of paving crew and will engage in the trade work of the employees being supervised.
General Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of a small group of constructions workers.
- Prioritize, delegate and perform all work placing safety first in all things.
- Record daily time, production, and site conditions.
- Schedule proper maintenance for all equipment with operations manager and/or shop management.
- Confer with operations manager to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.
- Perform the duties of all asphalt crew team members.
- Utilize knowledge asphalt quality control measures.
- Continually inspect work site, surveying for potential hazards
or safety concerns.
Qualifications:
- Ability to use arms and hand to reach for, handle and manipulate objects.
- Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
- Good communication skills to work effectively and safely.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Ability to work overtime and all shifts, as required.
- Have a clean driving record and background check
- Be able to pass drug screening
- Must be comfortable with working outdoors in all weather conditions.
