Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and overall childhood development.
- Support teachers in managing classroom activities and maintaining a structured learning environment.
- Provide individualized attention to students, ensuring their unique learning needs are met.
- Engage with students in various educational activities, reinforcing concepts taught in the classroom.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop effective behavior management strategies tailored to individual student needs.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Participate in training sessions related to special education, Montessori methods, and other relevant teaching strategies.
- Foster a nurturing environment that encourages social interaction and emotional growth among students.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to develop lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Classroom experience demonstrating effective classroom management techniques.
- Understanding of child development principles and behavior management strategies.
- A background in literacy education, math instruction, or curriculum development is highly desirable.
