Office Assistant and Customer Service Agent

Wisdom Publications is seeking a highly-organized, people-oriented, and proactive Office Assistant to join our small but dynamic team. This is a multi-functional role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys both independent and collaborative work, and brings professionalism and warmth to everything they do.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the CEO’s schedule, appointments, and calendar.
- Coordinate travel, meetings, and logistics.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Process and sort incoming and outgoing mail (including post office and UPS runs).
- Welcome visitors and make them feel at home.
- Manage repair requests and liaise with contractors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for office visitors and vendors.
- Support occasional evening or weekend events as a welcoming host, managing logistics and guest experience.
- Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
- Monitor and care for the overall functionality and presentation of the office space.
- Ensure the West Village office is clean, organized, and fully operational.
Customer Service Agent
- Answer calls and respond to customer inquiries via our online service platform.
- Handle returns, refunds, shipping inquiries, and tracking updates.
- Record and manage customer interactions and account updates.
- Follow and uphold all customer service policies and procedures.
- Quickly research or recall answers to ensure fast, high-quality support.
