Job Summary
We are seeking the right candidate to join our team of compassionate and experienced Outpatient Psychotherapists. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality psychotherapy services to children and/or adults. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapies within an outpatient setting. The Psychotherapist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote mental health and well-being while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT coding standards.
- Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and behavior management techniques.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions addressing issues like depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship issues, etc.
- Maintain detailed medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. .
- Conduct intake assessments for new patients and facilitate ongoing patient care through telehealth or in-person sessions.
Skills
- Expertise in evidenced based psychotherapy modalities.
- Strong ethics, integrity, self awareness, and desire to learn.
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations using DSM criteria.
- Excellent communication skills for intake interviews and patient education.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and mental health counseling practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills for managing medical records and documentation efficiently.
