Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and menus.
- Collaborate with the head chef in menu planning and development.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage.
- Perform food handling duties.
- Utilize knife skills for food preparation tasks efficiently and safely.
- Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and assisting with ordering as needed.
- Provide courteous and professional service to guests when needed.
- Support the Head Chef and culinary team with special projects or events.

Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices a plus
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
