What are the responsibilities and job description for the Programs Manager position at Wisconsin Technical College System?
JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position is responsible for the research,
analysis, and development of policies, procedures, and protocols related
to the Programs at the 16 Wisconsin Technical College districts. This
position acts as a liaison with the technical colleges, providing
technical assistance in the development and maintenance of transfer
programs. This position is also responsible for reviewing policies from
higher education accreditation agencies to determine technical college
compliance. In addition, this position provides technical and
administrative support services to the Education Division and the
Associate Vice Presidents for Instructional Services and Student
Success. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimally
qualified candidates will have each of the following: Experience with
project management (developing and implementing programs, monitoring
programs for progress, etc.) Experience facilitating or collaborating
with a team of skilled professionals Experience with administrative
support duties (preparing documents, scheduling, creating reports, etc.)
In addition, highly qualified candidates will have one or more of the
following: Experience researching and analyzing laws, rules and/or
regulations Experience identifying issues and following through with
problem solving techniques Experience working with contracts,
