Responsibilities:
- Make sure everyone is safe
- Love and respect students while teaching them to swim
- Follow our curriculum with a focus on the needs, abilities and comfort of each student
- Utilizing knowledge and curriculum to advance students abilities as efficiently as possible
- Complete required training and be a continual learner
- Skills assessments of students
- Communication with parents of students
- Setting up and putting away equipment for class
- Taking attendance for classes
- Caring and compassion for children
- Knowledge of swimming technique and advanced skills required
- Evening and weekend availability (School Year Shifts Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 6:00pm-8:00pm)
- Reliable transportation to and from any shifts and trainings/meetings at either Lawrence Buchanan Kiewit Wellness Center or Wisconsin Swim Academy
- Strong communication skills
- Great attitude and willingness to be coached
- The ability to commit to at least 1 year of employment
