We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Director of Nursing to oversee clinical operations in our senior living community in West Bend, WI.
This role is ideal for a nurse leader who values relationship-based care, staff mentorship, and regulatory excellence — not just paperwork and staffing coordination. You will lead the nursing team, ensure quality resident care, and help create a safe, supportive environment for seniors and families.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Resident Care
Oversee all nursing services in Assisted Living and Memory Care
Complete resident assessments, care plans, and service plan reviews
Monitor resident health status and coordinate physician communication
Manage medication administration systems and clinical documentation
Support fall prevention, infection control, and quality initiatives
Team Management
Supervise nurses, caregivers, and medication aides
Provide coaching, training, and performance development
Support staff retention and positive workplace culture
Manage staffing coverage and scheduling coordination
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Maintain state regulatory compliance and survey readiness
Lead incident review and follow-up processes
Implement policies and procedures aligned with clinical standards
Collaborate with Executive Director and department leaders
Qualifications
Active LPN or Registered Nurse (RN) license – Wisconsin
Previous Director of Nursing, Resident Care Director, Health & Wellness Director, or Clinical Manager experience in senior living, assisted living, long-term care, or skilled nursing
Knowledge of state regulations and quality care standards
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Passion for working with older adults
