Position Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Commit to a welcoming, supportive, and non-judgmental approach with all clients, callers, and coworkers
- Help animals find new homes via our same-day adoption process
- Support client questions in person, by phone, and via email
- Process register transactions and support customers with products in retail store
- Maintain accurate and objective records in our animal management software
- Work cooperatively within your own department and cross departmentally
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Available to work daytime, evening, and weekend shifts
- Position begins mid-May and concludes in September, dates negotiable
- Must be able to routinely carry 25lbs and up to 50lbs
- Must be committed to our organizational values of compassion, respect, and kindness, innovation, professionalism, equity, and positive approach
- Ability to partner with clients, staff, and volunteers from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to manage assigned personal schedule and timecard
- Prior client services and animal experience a plus
