Title: General Laborer
Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Assembly/Weld Supervisor
Location: Manitowoc, WI
Summary:
The General Laborer performs a variety of physical tasks to support daily operations and production activities. This position assists with maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment while following company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual labor tasks as assigned by supervisors or team leads.
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with production, assembly, packaging, or shipping activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area through housekeeping activities.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with equipment setup, cleanup, and basic maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
