Position Summary
This position will provide administrative functions and support services for the Administrator and Assistant Administrators of the Division of Adult Institutions. Duties include: coordination and facilitation of special projects and administrative assignments; development of databases and tracking systems; coordinating complex electronic calendars; processing communications in an accurate and timely manner; drafting documents and correspondence as directed; and providing overall administrative support functions for Division.
This position is responsible for handling and preparing confidential and sensitive correspondence. Additionally, this position has contact with public officials, including the Secretary’s Office, legislators, bureau/office directors, division administrators, wardens and superintendents, other state agencies, local officials and the media.
Salary Information
This position is in pay schedule and range 81-04 with a starting pay of $44241 to $81536. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A probationary period is required.

This position has the flexibility of a hybrid in-office and remote work schedule up to one day per week.

- Utilizing computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.) to create or manage data, reports, spreadsheets, memos, etc.
- Working as a liaison with high-level stakeholders such as appointed and/or elected government officials, etc.
- Compiling, analyzing, and presenting information and data
- Providing administrative support for executive level management in an organization
