Wisconsin Center District Job Description – Public Safety Officer
Position Overview: The Public Safety Patrol Officer will patrol buildings and grounds within an assigned area on foot or in a vehicle, secure and unsecure buildings, report unusual or suspicious circumstances or conditions, activate and de-activate alarm systems, file reports regarding work place injuries, along with monitor and report obvious malfunctions in building physical plant mechanical systems such as heating, air conditioning, lighting, water leaks, etc. Public Safety Officer’s are a key face of the WCD and will need to provide general assistance, directions, and information to personnel and visitors. The Public Safety Patrol Officer will work a non-conventional workweek and will be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
Hours for 2nd Shift - 3:00pm - 11:00pm (2 days per week)
