About the Role:
As a GSE Mechanic, you'll perform maintenance and repairs on airport ground service equipment and company vehicles. You’ll also assist with general facility maintenance—including hangar doors, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. While prior facility maintenance experience is a plus, it’s not required—we’ll provide training for those willing to learn.
This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and often outdoors. You'll work both in the shop and out in the field, supporting our daily operations and helping keep everything running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain ground service equipment (e.g., tugs, deice trucks, fuel trucks)
- Perform routine maintenance on company vehicles
- Assist with facility upkeep and repairs, including:
- Hangar door maintenance and repair
- Basic HVAC, electrical, and plumbing tasks (training provided)
- Conduct preventive maintenance and safety checks
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Collaborate with team members to support daily operations
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience (automotive, equipment, etc.)
- Willingness to learn facility-related maintenance tasks (hangar doors, HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
