About the Role
WiSC Enterprises is seeking a Technical Advisor (SME) to provide expert technical and analytical support to complex government programs and mission-critical systems. The Technical Advisor will lead assessments, analyze operational challenges, define user requirements, and recommend process, system, and configuration changes that improve efficiency and mission effectiveness. This senior-level role requires deep expertise, the ability to navigate competing priorities, and strong communication with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients and other stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Skills:
- 10 years of experience with Department of Defense (DoD) or similar programs/projects
Technical subject matter expertise in the appropriate phenomenology, mission processes, data sources, and analytic disciplines to support and advise intelligence production efforts.
Experience developing phenomenology-based GEOINT, MASINT, and SIGINT advanced target analytical training for use by analysts creating intelligence products.
- Experience proposing recommendations to automate mission area analytic workflows and guide government implementation of automated cross workflow solutions including use of automation across multiple cloud environments.
Education and experience meeting SME-level requirements:
- Doctorate degree in a field relevant to their functional area.
- Twenty (20) years of work experience may be substituted for a Doctorate; or, sixteen (16) yearsof work experience plus a Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for a Doctorate; or, twelve (12) years of work experience plus a Master’s degree may be substituted for a Doctorate.
- Doctorate degree in a field relevant to their functional area.

- Intelligence Databases (M3, Palantir, Analyst Notebook, IC Reach, Intelink, ACES)
- GEOINT & Imaging (ArcGIS, RemoteView, FalconView, imagery exploitation tools)
- Modeling/Simulation (STK, MATLAB/Simulink, COMSOL, ANSYS, flight/missile modeling suites)
- Data Analysis (Python, R, SQL, Excel (advanced), Power BI, Tableau)
- Systems & Architecture (DOORS, MagicDraw, SysML, DOF/DoDAF tools)
- Program Support (JCIDS, DAES, SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence)
- Communication & Security (JWICS, SIPRNet, NIPRNet, DCS, secure document systems)
- Reporting & Visualization (MS Office Suite, Visio, Lucidchart)
Security Clearance:
- Active Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
