Wisable is a tech-enabled business brokerage transforming how small businesses (SMBs) are sold. The SMB market is vast and underpenetrated, with millions of owners seeking to sell and growing buyer demand. SMBs are the backbone of the economy but often lack the resources and expertise to navigate successful exits. Wisable bridges this gap by combining an AI-powered tech stack with tailored advisory to deliver efficient, customer-centric transactions.
Wisable is fully funded for 2 years and, based on current economics, we expect to reach breakeven within 18 months. We’re also prepared to invest further to accelerate growth.
We’re looking for a results-driven Sales Representative with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. This role will require the ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment while multi-tasking, project managing, and demonstrating forward thinking. This will be a key role in a small fast-paced team, so this individual must be collaborative and a self-starter. The average customer will be an older small business owner, who will require confidentiality and tactful trust building.
What does a Sales Representative do?
You will conduct initial outreach to potential clients and conduct introductory calls where you seek to sell the brokerage services, understand the clients pain points and priorities, and assess their willingness to sell and the baseline viability of their business. You will aim to convert good leads into signed customers.
Responsibilities
- Present, promote and sell services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
- Continuously improve through feedback
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Professional experience in a sales role in adjacent industries such as real estate, finance, or other industries serving SMBs is preferred.
- Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Excellent prioritization, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
- Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships, HubSpot experience is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.

- WFH Mondays and Fridays, in-office Tuesdays through Thursdays
