Primary Responsibilities
- Provide emergency/ unscheduled repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Responsible for conducting maintenance for all equipment and facilities that will minimize disruptions in the manufacturing operations and ensure maximum useful life of all production equipment.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic repair and preventive maintenance.
- Read equipment manuals/schematics and part reference information to assure appropriate operation and repair of equipment.
- Any reasonable work request from leadership.
- Observe all facility safety rules and regulations including the use of personal protective equipment; report all injuries, accidents and hazards immediately.
- Maintain an orderly and clean work environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required, Maintenance Electrical license and certificates a plus.
- 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team.
- Must have a drivers license.
- Must be able to acquire a Passport and be able to travel.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools used in industrial mechanic trade.
- Must be proficient in use of Microsoft-based computer systems.
- Must be able to work overtime and occasional off hours.
- Must be able to work from heights (ladders, lifts, etc.).
- Position requires lifting (50 lbs.), bending, stooping, and working in tight places.
- Must be capable of troubleshooting (electrical and mechanical) issues and develop an efficient solution to resolve problems.
- Knowledge of CNC/NC controls a plus (Mazak, Fanuc, HAAS, Heidenhain and Siemens).
- Knowledge of Welding/Fabrication and Welding equipment is a plus.
- Experience with PLC and Industrial Control Systems troubleshooting a plus.
- Understanding of power transmission, electrical and pneumatic controls, and valves.
