ABOUT THE JOB
- When trucks are loaded or unloaded, make sure that they are done in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the shipping clerk that loads are prioritized by the daily needs of production and warehouse.
- Oversee that the docks and warehouse are properly cleaned.
- Oversee that raw materials and all full goods are placed in their proper locations, both inside and outside of the place.
- Operate a forklift to achieve the above job duties.
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in all areas of loading, unloading and forklift duties on the production lines.
- Shag trailers.
- Hold monthly tailgate meetings.
- Use bar codes scanning equipment and computer.
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
- Follow all GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Follow all food safety policies, procedures and regulations.
ABOUT YOU
- Must be able to pass forklift certification course.
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
- Requires basic math and communication skills.
- Must be able to supervise and direct people to do their assigned work.
