- Oversee staffing for the Production Department to meet customer demand. This includes both hourly and salary production roles.
- Fulfill the duties of the Facility Manager in his/her absence.
- Serve as liaison between the production personnel and staff on matters of communication, decisions, and policies.
- Prioritizes, schedules, and delegates work assignments.
- Ensure the continuous improvement of methods and processes.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety standards, housekeeping programs, work rules and regulations, providing a safe and clean workplace and complying with all regulatory agencies by leading by example and following up.
- Participate and support food safety auditing in a timely manner.
- Communicate with procurement regarding raw material needs or deficiencies.
What We're Looking For
- Four- year degree preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Previous management/supervisory experiences a must.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills including interpersonal, written and verbal.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. The company will not sponsor employment visas now or in the future
- Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
