What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Professional Organizing Services position at Wirks Moving and Storage?
We're growing our professional organizing division and looking for a Director of Professional Organizing & Client Experience to lead it. This is a leadership role for someone who wants real ownership over a business line, a client base they've built themselves, and income that reflects what they actually produce.
What this role actually looks like:
You'll own the growth and delivery of our organization services division. Some leads will come to you warm through our established home services network — but you'll also be expected to get out in the community, build relationships, and create your own pipeline. If you light up at a networking event and follow up like clockwork, you'll do well here.
- Actively prospect, network, and build referral relationships in the community
- Meet with prospective clients, assess their needs, and close projects
- Manage projects from kickoff through completion — scheduling, coordination, quality
- Turn first-time clients into long-term ones through exceptional service
- Collaborate with a support team that handles logistics so you can focus on clients and growth

Nice to have:
✔️ NAPO membership or involvement in a professional organizing association
✔️ CPO® (Certified Professional Organizer) certification or working toward it
✔️ Experience with senior move management or working with aging-in-place clients
✔️ Project management training or certification (PMP, Six Sigma, or similar)
✔️ Active in local networking or referral groups (BNI, chamber, real estate community, etc.)
Compensation:
This role has a $65K base commission and bonuses. We're offering uncapped upside and the autonomy to build something big. High performers in this structure will significantly outperform a flat salary.
