- Analyze customer demand for products
- Ensure purchased raw materials and components meet production needs
- Ensure production shop orders are created to meet customer needs
- Maintain productive supplier relationships
- Utilize the ERP system and WireTech production processes to accurately coordinate purchasing and planning
- Review sourcing requisitions and create purchase orders for components, shop supplies, and maintenance items
- Seek out opportunities to reduce costs
